PC World Businessplus Rolls Out with G-T-P
13/08/2008

The second stage of the roll-out of the PC World Businessplus Account Card starts next week, following the successful first phase launch earlier this year.
As well as offering customers up to 60 days credit and exclusive benefits, Businessplus has proved particularly popular with the PC World stores themselves. The card uses G-T-P’s online account application processing facility CAPTURE™ to make it easier for customers to open a credit account in PC World stores, reducing application handling time by as much as 60%. By issuing successful in-store applicants with an Instant Account Card that allows them to spend straight away, PC World is able to make sure first time customers become repeat customers.
Fraud prevention is an integral part of the DSGi Business strategy and customers must activate their Businessplus card via a quick and easy IVR system, provided by G-T-P.
The card has also reduced transaction times at the till by an estimated 85%, with huge time and cost saving benefits for DSGi Business. In the stores where the card is already live, Businessplus has freed up valuable time for the PC World Business Sales teams, giving them the time they need to proactively manage their customers.
Helen Child, Chief Executive of G-T-P Group Ltd, comments: “With the second phase of the roll-out we expect to see the volumes of Businessplus applications and transactions increase dramatically. This is where the process automation and costs savings that G-T-P offer will really come into their own.”
“The Businessplus Account Card strengthens the overall PC World Business proposition by improving the customer experience, thereby making “easy to do business with” an actuality rather than an empty brand promise.” adds Helena Ridsdale, Marketing Services Manager, DSGi Business.
