Crabtree & Evelyn replaced their paper gift vouchers with environmentally-friendly recyclable plastic Gift Cards. The Gift Card was launched in November in partnership, allowing Crabtree & Evelyn to capitalise on the pre-Christmas market. Since Crabtree & Evelyn offers naturally inspired remedies, the cards are made of an environmentally-friendly, recyclable plastic that has a far lower cradle to grave carbon footprint than most other plastics. Cards are available to purchase across Crabtree & Evelyn’s 41 stores nationwide and online at www.crabtree-evelyn.co.uk. Customers can use the Gift Card to purchase in Crabtree & Evelyn stores, with web purchases and corporate sales planned for the future. The move to plastic in the UK followed the success of their electronic Gift Card in the United States. |
