The Wave™ Gift Card was the first watersports Gift Card in the UK, offering the opportunity to try out watersports nationally. The Wave™ is a private network, Restricted Loop Prepaid Card. Cards can be used to purchase watersports activities from a network of independent watersports centres across the UK.

G-T-P operates the Wave™ Gift Card on behalf of Caroline Meechan, former VA Member and sales and marketing chief of Marriott Individual Incentives, who has used the card to target both the consumer and incentives markets.

The two lenticular card designs, which each morph between three different watersports images, are sold online at the dedicated website www.thewavegiftcard.co.uk, in independent watersports centres across the UK and is set to go into Gift Card Malls in the very near future.

Since the Wave is sold and redeemed across multiple independent centres, the card uses G-T-P's e-Money Licence and is strictly regulated by the FSA, protecting customers.
